90 + 90 = 180 Join me in Constituting Myself

I've found a wonderful site called Constituting America

In late April of this year, they started a program 90 + 90 = 180.  By this, they mean, in 90 days, they're going through the Constitution and the Federalist Papers (which explain the constitution).  They read the reading for the day, they have a Constitutional expert relay his thoughts on the reading then Janine and her side-kick relay their thoughts.  And participants join in the blog as well.

The archives begin here:  ARCHIVES   with Article I of the Constitution.

I'm starting today just reading through one archived day each day (I don't want to jump in where they are, want to start at the beginning).  Who'll join me?   Feel free to comment here.

Question of the day....Lest we forget...

Here's the question again:

Fill in the blanks.

On September 11th, 2001, when the Twin Towers fell, the _____________ asked the US immediately what they could do to help while the __________________ danced in the streets.

On September 11th, 2001, when the Twin Towers fell, the ISRAELIs asked the US immediately what they could do to help while the PALESTINIANS  danced in the streets.

Lest we forget who our friends are.

Equality of Opportunity vs Equality of Results

Do you know the difference?  One epitomizes the American Spirit, one the Socialist.  Check out this story and see which you think it is....

Win a game by more than 5 points and you LOSE

In yet another nod to the protection of fledgling self-esteem, an Ottawa children’s soccer league has introduced a rule that says any team that wins a game by more than five points will lose by default.
The Gloucester Dragons Recreational Soccer league’s newly implemented edict is intended to dissuade a runaway game in favour of sportsmanship. The rule replaces its five-point mercy regulation, whereby any points scored beyond a five-point differential would not be registered.

How did President Obama commemorate D-Day?

Answer 1:  He didn't.
Answer 2: He went to a party

It’s too bad Barack Obama missed the anniversary today.
The White House website has nothing posted today on the 66th Anniversary of the D-Day landing.
The president had other things on his mind.
He was attending his second party this week, tonight at the Ford Theatre.
